After Taliban had been defeated in war, this Afghanistan flag is the current one to fly over this long-embattled country. The Afghanistan Flag displays brilliant colors using the Pan-Arab colors of red, green and black.

The gold colored coat of arms centered features a golden mosque ringed by sheaves of wheat. The Arabic inscription at the top reads, "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger."
